Karen Chan

Karen Chan is “strictly education” – she does not sell any financial products or services. She has been educating the public about financial topics for more than 25 years. After a career as an educator with University of Illinois Extension, Chan “retired,” but she continues to provide financial education workshops through her own small business, Karen Chan Financial Education & Consulting, LLC. Karen has a master’s degree in consumption economics. She also holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, but she teaches rather than working with individual clients. Her goals are to make even complicated financial subjects easy to understand, and to help people make wiser decisions with their money.
