Top 10 Scholarships for Women
Who run the world? Girls!
Times have changed for the better — mostly.
Women hold nearly 30% of CEO and board member positions at Fortune 500 companies in the United States. Hurrah! But college costs have increased more than 25% in the last decade. Yikes! And that means female students are feeling the financial strain. Rising tuition fees can put higher education out of reach — dashing any hope of becoming a girl boss.
Securing a college scholarship can make or break a woman’s path to higher education. In response, companies, organizations, and nonprofits are stepping up to offer financial assistance. Scholarships for women increase access to higher education while reducing the financial burden placed on students. Win-win.
Here are 10 of the best scholarships just for women.
