Matt Pelkey oversaw personal finance education for OppU.

During his time as the director of education for OppU, he successfully implemented personal finance courses, scholarship opportunities, and financial literacy resources for students and adults of all ages.

He completed training with the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) in 2020 and is a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI).

He has been quoted in the Chicago Tribune, Orlando Sentinel, and the Tri-City Herald, and his financial research has been cited in Forbes, U.S. News & World Report, Fox Business, and Yahoo Finance.

He also holds a master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College.
